Dog Cafes

Dog Cafes are an increasingly popular trend in many restaurants and pubs. These days, a visit to the restaurant is more than just a meal, it's a social experience where dog owners are welcome to drop in with their furry pals and enjoy some friendly company while they dine.

The trend of trendy dog cafes is catching on. Whether you are a member of a dog club or own a good dog-sitter, having a dog-friendly establishment at your place can be a wonderful way to bond with your pet, especially if you also have a huge poodle mix.

Dog Cafes come in all shapes and sizes, ranging from private house parties to dedicated facilities which include two or more tables, a TV screen and an occasional activity such as games. Many venues also offer pet services such as grooming, bathing and veterinary care. Of course, the food is top-notch; so is the atmosphere.

It helps to choose a dog cafe that caters to your dog's needs in terms of training and housebreaking. Make sure your pup gets to socialize with other dogs and you know it well enough to nip your children.

Dog owners should consider the cuisine, the menu and the ambience. For example, most dog cafes serve vegetarian foods, while others will offer a very wide selection of meat and fish dishes.

There are some owners who choose to use an independent dog sitter in a cafe or pub. This can be a great alternative for dog owners who are worried about how they can keep their animals safe in a public place. The dog sitter will take care of your dog while you go out for the day.

Some dog owners decide to include barbecues, water, and treats in their Dog Café menus. This is an ideal way to get your pet to eat and drink at the same time.

You'll also need to make sure your dog is welcome in the cafe. If the place doesn't offer a large enough space for two dogs, consider just sharing one table and having your pet on the floor, next to the owner.

In some cases, dog owners also offer their dogs a few free dogs at the cafe. This can be a fun way to meet new people while you enjoy some barbecues with your pooch.

Make sure your dog is able to access the equipment and food in the cafe. Some dog cafes may require you to be at the owner's home before being allowed to enter the establishment.

Some dog owners prefer to host their pet's bachelorette party in a Dog Cafe. Remember to ask the owner and dog sitter about their policies regarding inviting guests at this event and how to keep your pooch safe while out.
